This communication is to recommend Mrs. Norela Berrio Tejeda.

 

I first met Mrs. Norela Berrio Tejeda in 2013, when she was elected to the Administration for Children’s Services, City Wide Policy Committee (CWPC) of the Head Start grant. The City Wide Policy Committee (CWPC) is a community group designated to assist and support the administration of the ACS’ Head Start Grant. In a short time, Mrs. Berrio surpassed my expectations and began to function as the Program Committee Chairperson for the Division of Early Childhood Education (ECE). She has shown particularly poise, independence, intelligence, and dependability along with a full range of other interdisciplinary skills.

 

Mrs. Berrio has had substantial exposure to the “practical” aspects and demands of working for a high pace, result oriented environment during her assignment at ACS, as Program Committee Chairperson, Mrs. Berrio always met the division’s deadlines. One has only to speak to Mrs. Berrio to recognize her professionalism. While she has no trouble working in a group concept or team environment, she certainly works well on her own.

 

I would expect Mrs. Berrio to bring these same qualities of character and commitment to your organization, her keen intelligence and drive. These qualities, combined with her exceptional problem solving philosophy and result oriented attitude, will enable her to understand her role in any new position.
